Why this font?
Rockwell is part of the family of mechanics, also called Egyptian, takes its name from the context
of its creation (industrial revolution and strong interest in Egypt). They draw on the forms
mechanical from the industrial world with thick serifs and a small contrast between the solids
and the hairlines. They evoke the popular and working world of artisans and good makers.
Written in an old font brought up to date, Rockwell, the logo
intelligently combines timeless industrial know-how and modernity.
Written in lower case, the logo expresses the human, round and friendly appearance while being
very mechanical.
